Data Submission Policy
The Orange County Property Appraiser (OCPA) maintains parcel information on its website to allow users to conduct property searches. The property search feature on the OCPA website allows users to, among other things, view photos of real property and electronically upload photographic images regarding property that they own.
The ability to electronically upload photographic images of property is provided to the public as a convenience. In uploading images, however, users should be aware of the following:
- This site remains under the control of the OCPA, and the OCPA reserves the right to reject and remove, in its sole discretion, with or without cause, photographic images that are electronically uploaded by users.
- Users who intentionally alter, falsify, or deface the public information contained on the OCPA website may be guilty of a felony of the third degree and/or a misdemeanor of the first degree, punishable in accordance with Florida law.
- Florida has a broad public-records law. A photographic image uploaded onto the OCPA website is a public record that by law will be open to inspection and copying by any person desiring to do so and will not be exempt from public-records-law requirements.
