Today, Orange County Property Appraiser Rick Singh was the keynote speaker at Gray-Robinson's Community Leader Forum. The topic of the presentation, "Orange County's Property Tax Base- A Story of Resilience, Growth, and Prosperity" narrated the growth of Orange County within the Residential, Commercial and Tangible Personal property sectors. The presentation also touched on where we may be headed in the coming years. The audience was made up of Attorney's, Business and Community leaders. Thank you to Gray-Robinson for having us!
Great news for condo/townhome owners! Orlando saw an increase of 10% in condo/townhome sales and an increase in median condo price for the month of September (year-over-year). Read more in the Orlando Sentinel.

You can now view income pro forma information on our property record card. Simply type in the property name using the ‘Property Name’ search and then click on the ‘Value, Exemptions & Taxes’ tab. You will see the link ‘view income pro forma’ above the historical value & tax benefits information. Just click and you will get the income pro forma for that parcel. Orange County Property Appraiser Rick Singh organized the OCPA Achievers Club to give feedback on office policies and procedures. One person from every department was selected to participate. The Achievers met for lunch several times and made suggestions to help the agency run smoother. See the video below of some of our achievers and staff members.
Property Appraiser Rick Singh signs off on certifying the 2014 Final Tax Roll. His certification allows the Tax Collector to send tax bills on or before November 1st.
Project DTO, a task force set up by Mayor Buddy Dyer, takes a look at revamping the Lake Eola Amphitheater for the next 10-year plan for Downtown Orlando. The proposed renderings show a larger amphitheater closer to Central Blvd and facing Lake Eola, not at Rosalind Avenue. For more on this story, take a look at the Bungalower link below:
Rocco Campanale, our Cadastral Mapping Department Manager, is shown here giving a workshop titled, "Bridging the Gaps & Slivers between Surveyors and Cadastralist" at the 28th annual Florida Association of Cadastral Mappers (FACM) conference. He is joined by other members of our team, representing the OCPA cadastral mapping department. FACM brings together cadastral mappers in both the private and public sectors in the state of Florida. The Orlando Ballet plans for a new home near Lock Haven Park. The location will have plenty of space including studios, a great hall, and office space. Read more about the project in the Orlando Business Journal.
